iRacing.com - New Pacific Content

Australian auto racing is now available to motorsports fans, online racing drivers and racing games enthusiasts world-wide as iRacing.com, the home of NASCAR-sanctioned online racing and IZOD IndyCar online racing, unveils the Ford Falcon FG01 and Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit as iRacing.com continues its global expansion from the company's North American roots.

"Because we're internet-based, our members can compete with people all over the world," said John W. Henry, co-founder of iRacing.com. "We now have iRacers in 70 countries outside North America. We'll continue to develop content from North America as we expand our focus to include more international tracks and cars."

Earlier this year iRacing.com and Williams F1 announced joint plans to add a virtual version of the legendary team's FW31 grand prix car to iRacing's inventory. To the existing 40 tracks (100+ configurations) and 18 cars, iRacing has recently added Brands Hatch in England and the Dutch Circuit Club Zandvoort – joining Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix. Okayama International Circuit will be the first of three Japanese tracks, in addition to Japanese racing cars.

iRacing.com is an internet-based subscription service that provides motorsports enthusiasts and gamers with an entire virtual version of the sport of auto racing, including organized and spontaneous racing and a social community. Advanced technology, including millimeter-accurate laser scanning, is used to develop extremely accurate digital versions of tracks and cars. Members, who pay as little as $8.00 per month for unlimited track time, are ensured an experience that is always fun with a range of cars and races aimed at everyone from complete beginner to world-class real-world professional driver.

iRacing.com is currently offering a special $5.00 (US) trial offer for new members at http://www.iracing.com/pr/
