Thrustmaster T500 RS – PC Drivers

Thrustmaster has released the PC drivers for their steering wheel T500 RS. The PC drivers are available both as 32bit & 64bit version. Detailed installation instructions can be found at the download webpage.

The wheel (30cm in diameter) can be rotated to 1080°. Metal Pedal Set is made from 100% metal pedal set with fully adjustable and accommodate individual driving preferences by offering 2 positions “floor-mounted” F1 style, or “suspended” GT style. The magnetic sensor-based H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology™ is incorporated into the wheel’s steering mechanism.

Thrustmaster T500 RS will be available on January 5 in North America and Europe and on January 25 in Japan, at a suggested retail price of $599.99 / £449.99 / €499.99.

NASCAR 2011 The Game – Richmond gameplay video

Eutechnyx has released a new gameplay video of their NASCAR 2011 showing 2 laps at Richmond International Raceway with Chevrolet Impala SS.

NASCAR 2011 claims to feature "the most detailed damage and collision effects ever produced in a officially licensed racing game". It will also have an online component as well as a career mode which will enable you to play as yourself or any other real-life NASCAR driver. It will include the 2010 & 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup seasons and it will feature 22 different tracks to race on.

The planned release in February has been postponed to March 29th. NASCAR 2011 The Game, will be released for the Nintendo Wii, XBox 360 and Playstation 3.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Jaguar Trailer

Atari has released a new trailer of their Test Drive Unlimited 2 highlighting the Jaguar cars.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is set on the island of Ibiza. All the road networks are designed to be as true to life as possible, so players will feel like they're really racing on Ibiza itself. The island has a full day/night cycle which spans approximately two hours, so players will be driving their cars of choice through rainy nights and brilliant sunsets.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is scheduled for release on February 8th, 2011 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Need for Speed Shift 2 – Career Mode Trailer

EA Games has released a new trailer of the Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed introducing a career mode.

The game will ship with Autolog, an all-pervasive online hub that records race performances and lap times etc. before allowing gamers to share this info with friends. Beyond that, an all-new rendering engine has been built for Shift 2 by Slightly Mad Studios complete with a full graphical overhaul for the series. Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed will include the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship & GT3 European Championship among lots of other racing content.

Need For Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will be available in Europe on March 10th, 2011.

SBK 2011 - Rainy Track Gameplay

Black Bean Games have released a gameplay video of their new racing game SBK 2011: Superbike World Championship showing new weather effects in rainy Assen.
