NASCAR 2011 The Game – Developer Diary: Paint Shop

Eutechnyx has released a new developer diary video of their NASCAR 2011 highlighting the paint shop.

Executive Producer, Dave Thompson talks about how important it was to make the tool accessible to all players. Lead Designer, Gareth Wright shows the range of customisation in the game and how players are almost unlimited in the designs they can create.

NASCAR the Game 2011: Lap around Las Vegas

FOX Sports has released a new preview video of  the NASCAR The Game 2011. Brad Keslowski takes you a lap around Las Vegas in the #2 Miller Lite Dodge. This includes a first glimpse at the new 2011 DLC for NTG11.

It will be the first NASCAR game since the contract between EA Sports and NASCAR expired. The game will also feature online races for 16-players. A damage model has been included with cars catapulting into the air and barrel-rolling over others. All of the 23 Sprint Cup Series race tracks will featured in the game. Eutechnyx later announced 43 drivers have been added to the game, as well as some other drivers who compete in the Nationwide Series.

The planned release in February has been postponed to March 29th. NASCAR 2011 The Game, will be released for the Nintendo Wii, XBox 360 and Playstation 3.

Need for Speed Shift 2 – Comparison with Forza 3, GT5 and reality

EA has released a preview video of the Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed that compares Shift 2 with the Forza 3, with the Gran Turismo 5 and with a real life racing.

Shift 2 will feature 145 cars from 36 manufacturers and 35 different tracks, which players can compete in several types of races. The game will also feature new features such as an in-helmet cam, night-time racing and the Autolog feature introduced with Hot Pursuit.

Need For Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will be available in Europe on March 24th, 2011.

DiRT 3 - Kenya gameplay video

VVV Gamer has released a gameplay video of the upcoming DiRT 3 rally game showing a full stage of the Kenya Rally.

DiRT 3 will feature over 50 cars that can be raced on over 100 stages. It will also offer the '70s cars such as the Lancia Stratos, the famously fierce Group B cars of the mid-80s are represented by Quattro S1, RS2000 and Peugeot 205 among others. The '90s gives us the Toyota Celica, the Lancia Delta Integrale or Colin McRae's Subaru Impreza.

DiRT 3 is scheduled for release on May 24th, 2011 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Need for Speed Shift 2 – Dangerous Corners Trailer

EA has released a new trailer of the upcoming Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed highlighting some of the world's most dangerous, real-life corners.

Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed is an upcoming racing video game, the 17th title in the Need for Speed franchise, under development by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts. The game is the direct sequel to the critically acclaimed 2009 video game Need for Speed: Shift and expands on the gameplay and features introduced with the original. Shift 2 will feature 145 cars from 36 manufacturers and 35 different tracks, which players can compete in several types of races. The game will also feature new features such as an in-helmet cam, night-time racing and the Autolog feature introduced with Hot Pursuit.

Shift 2 Unleashed is due to be available in Europe on March 25 and North America on March 29, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

NASCAR 2011 The Game – Daytona race

Eutechnyx has released a new gameplay video of their NASCAR 2011 showing a race at Daytona International Speedway.

Players can choose to play as themselves or as one of the sport's real-world drivers as they battle it out for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. Each pro driver has the AI characteristics of his or her real world counterpart, setting the stage for rivalries played out on the track. The game includes multiplayer modes which allow up to 16 players to battle it out for the win online. In both online and offline races, players earn NASCAR experience points which help unlock rewards such as decal packs or special car designs, as well as career sponsorships and special races throughout career mode.

Eutechnyx has released a new developer diary video of their NASCAR 2011 highlighting the tracks.

In NASCAR The Game 2011, gamers will be able to race Kentucky before the real drivers get their shot later in the season. But that's not all, as the game features 23 tracks, replicated down to every bump on the road.

The game includes multiplayer modes which allow up to 16 players to battle it out for the win online. In both online and offline races, players earn NASCAR experience points which help unlock rewards such as decal packs or special car designs, as well as career sponsorships and special races throughout career mode.
