Pocono International Raceway also known as the Tricky Triangle, is a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania at Long Pond. Pocono Raceway has a unique design. Each turn is modeled after turns at 3 different tracks. Turn One (14 degree banking) was modeled after the now defunct Trenton Speedway, Turn Two (also known as "The Tunnel Turn") is like Indianapolis Motor Speedway (9 degree banking), and Turn 3 (6 degree banking) is similar to The Milwaukee Mile.

iRacing.com has released first scan images of the Belgian race track Spa-Francorchamps.

Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most famous and beautiful race tracks in the world. The 7km long circuit is the venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and the Spa 24 Hours endurance race. It is considered to be one of the most challenging race tracks in the world, mainly due to its fast, hilly and twisty nature. Spa is a favourite circuit of many racing drivers and fans.

Gran Turismo 5 - Car Battles Mix

VisionRacer has released a video from Gran Turismo 5 showing us the online spectator mode.

Gran Turismo 5 is to be the fifth edition of the highly acclaimed Gran Turismo racing simulator series, scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2010. For the first time in the main series, an online mode will be available in the game, with 16 player capability. Both mechanical and external damage have been confirmed, along with interior damage for 170 "premium" cars. Night racing will make a reappearance for GT5, with every course having the option for night racing. Weather effects are also confirmed to be included, although the extent of the implementation is currently unknown. GT5 will be the first Gran Turismo game in the series' history to display in an optional Stereoscopic-3D resolution.

InsideSimRacing: Episode 76

InsideSimRacing.tv has released a new episode 76. In this Episode they start things by looking at Mod Nation Racers by Sony San Diego Studios for the PS3 and PSP. They also present some exclusive footage from iRacing as Greg Hill shows the stuff they have in the pipeline (Pocono, Dover, F1, MX5) and Shaun talks about the new build. In top story they show how to setup triple screens using Eyefinity technology and ATI 5850 graphics card. They test the system on iRacing, rFactor, Live For Speed, Need for Speed Shift, Dirt 2 and GTR Evolution.

Colin McRae DiRT 3 – Screenshots

Codemasters have released a preview screenshots of their racing upcoming rally game Colin McRae DiRT 3.

DiRT 3 will offer the '70s cars such as the Lancia Stratos, the famously fierce Group B cars of the mid-80s are represented by Quattro S1, RS2000 and Peugeot 205 among others. The '90s gives us the Toyota Celica, the Lancia Delta Integrale or Colin McRae's Subaru Impreza.

Colin McRae DiRT 3 is scheduled for release in 2011 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will feature over 50 cars that can be raced on over 100 stages.
