Real-Time Racing - Xavier Maassen's 2010 vehicles

RTR crew is happy to announce the arrival of two new cars, as they are driven by their iOpener Enabled test pilot Xavier Maassen in the FIA GT1 World Championship and the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans this year.

Driving a Corvette C6.R branded with iOpener Enabled and Adrenaline Control logo's the dutchman will try to secure the win in the LMGT1 class. As from today you as a gamer can drive his virtual car in the Real-Time Racing game as we have added the Le Mans livery exclusively to our iOpener Enabled game.

Besides driving the legendary 24 Heures du Mans, Maassen is also active in the FIA GT1 World Championship where he and team mate Mike Hezemans compete against various other premium brands in the pinnacle of sports car racing.

Real-Time Racing - Beta Key for everyone

iOpener, the developer of the racing game Real-Time Racing, has released a newsletter containing great news for everybody who wants to participate in their Beta Test program. iOpener will send new beta keys to everybody who pre-registered with RTR the last months. You will get your key in the weeks after the event "Clean Week" so you will be right on time to participate for the great series of events that will be ahead of you this summer.

After a few months of intense beta testing and further developing the Real-Time Racing game they will close down the beta period after the summer!

On Thursday May 6th 2010 from 14:20 to 15:00 GMT they kick-off  new series of iOpener Enabled events starting with the introduction of iOpener Enabled WTCC cars! Existing testers will have the possibility to drive the SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI.

Beta testers get ready to enjoy the ride of your life with the release of the Corvette Grand Sport '63. RTR just released a new build for you to test.

With a 6.2 liter V8 engine producing an amazing 600 bhp and 750Nm @ 5200rpm, the classic Corvette Grand Sport is the most powerful car that will be featured in an iOpener Enabled race to date!
Tomorrow (Thursday April 8 2010) at 11:00 GMT you will be able test your skills against Michiel Campagne of Tachyon Motorsport in a stunning race for three long hours.

Real-Time Racing on TV

The German TV-stations ZDF & 3Sat have put together video report from last RTR's Dunlop Drivers Challenge at Belgian race circuit Zolder. The video shows racing action on-track as well as gameplay footage and several interviews with iOpener’s developers.
