iRacing.com has updated their online racing simulation to a new software build for the 4th season of 2010. Here is the message from their newsletter:
It’s that time of year again - the time when we release a new build with tons of refinements and improvements to iRacing and some great new content! We are so excited to release what has to be one of the most anticipated cars to join the iRacing.com garage - the Williams-Toyota FW31 grand prix car. This new car is only one highlight from this build so read on to see what else is new.
Williams-Toyota FW31
Our new A class road course car, it doesn’t get any more technically advanced than this.
Mazda MX5 Cup and Roadster
Free to all members and the new Rookie class road racing car.
GRAND-AM Online Sports Car Series
our new partnership with GRAND-AM Road racing introduces a new multi class series on iRacing with full season coverage of the leaders on GRAND-AM.com.
Formula Fun Series
Open to all members regardless of license level, this series features the Williams FW31 and races on several of the most historic tracks around the world.
Carburetor Cup
Features the Class A Chevy Impalla racing at Charlotte, Daytona and Talladega, this fun series is open to all iRacers regardless of license level. Now you start racing the top NASCAR racecar the very first day you join iRacing!
In-Sim Graphical Improvements
A completely revamped shadow and lighting system that improves the look and feel of the sim dramatically. Plus it is more efficient so virtually all users will see the difference, even if you don’t have a super computer.
Ghost iRacing
Drive in an online race against other competitors, without impacting their race – a great way to improve your driving technique.
Improved Member Site Personalization
Upload pictures, browse member profiles, display iRacing certificates, etc.
